Citizenship

The UKVI website advises that you might need to prove your knowledge of English Language at B1 or higher level and pass Life in the UK Test before applying for naturalization.

It also warns that ‘your citizenship or settlement application will be refused if you send the wrong qualifications’.

Since November 2015 only SELT exam is accepted by the UKVI. It means if you do B1 from just any Awarding body, it will not be acceptable for your visa extension purposes. Also, if have a B1 Certificate for ESOL from Trinity, it will not be acceptable as it is not SELT B1.

We prepare people for both the test here at our centre.
